  • GETTING TO KNOW THE MEN OF AKL

    THE FRATERNITY OF THE FUTURE AVAILABLE TO YOU TODAY! 

     

    Just arrive in Urbana-Champaign?  We were all there once and know just how you feel and what you’re thinking.

     

    The Alumni and Active members of AKL are opening our doors to you.  We are excited to be able to offer you a place for scholarship, leadership and social development.  Our focus is to make optimum use of your time at the University of Illinois.  Scholarship is your and our first priority.

     

    The schedule of events below will give you an opportunity to meet the men of AKL and learn all we have to offer; come once, come every day.  Come alone, bring your friends.  ALL are welcome at AKL!

     

    Wednesday – August 18th – Movie night in the Basement / Theater seating, surround sound / Pizza

    Thursday – August 19th – MOVE IN DAY FOR CAMPUS HOUSING - AKL will have House tours, prospective members and their parents are invited to join the Actives for dinner at the House

    Friday – August 20th – 1pm-5pm.  Volleyball on the west end of the parking lot.  Free soft drinks & t-shirts. Cookout, join the Actives for dinner.

    Saturday – August 21st –  QUAD DAY all day!! 6pm-9pm. BAND in the parking lot.

    Sunday – August 22nd – 1pm-6pm. 3 on 3 Basketball for NEW FRESHMAN ( Fastest team to 8 baskets.  Keep the names and contact info and then give out 1st, 2nd,3rd place trophies to 9 freshman at their dorms). If you win, you hold the court for up to 3 games. T-shirts for everyone. Bring your friends, bring a team or come alone and we'll put you on a team.  Cookout, join the Actives for dinner.

    Monday – August 23rd – House tours, cookout, join the Actives for dinner.

    Tuesday – August 24th – House tours, cookout, join the Actives for dinner.

    Wednesday – August 25th – Movie night in the Basement / Theater seating, surround sound / Pizza, join the Actives for dinner.

    Thursday – August 26th – House tours, cookout, join the Actives for dinner.
